Is Risperdal a dopamine agonist?

Is Risperdal a dopamine agonist? I take it for Bipolar and am currently decreasing it slowly so that I can conceive.. but my prolactin level are high my Luteal phase is short because I am spotting (only 8 days). I be asking this question becuase I would similar to to start taking Vitex & B6 to help beside this problem and it takes months to work but the Vitex say not to take if you are taking a dopamine agonist.
Any comfort appreciated!
Thanks!Is Risperdal a dopamine agonist?
No, it is a dopamine ANTagonist. It is thought to work by blocking the action of serotonin and dopamine contained by the brain.
yes. Risperdal is a dopamine agonist
Risperidone is a very strong dopamine blocker antagonist i.e., it inhibits functioning of postsynaptic dopamine receptors.
it is an agonist.lippincotts drug guide 2002...dont you infer that you should seriously think just about getting pregnant..Is this really a good article to pass your bipolar state along to an innocent infant...it does run in family you know.
