Is this psychological knock about?

My foster mom used to make me & my twin sister own short hair cuts & look resembling boys, & people used to call somebody names us.Is this psychological knock about?
Some may see this as covert sexual abuse. At the terribly least it is inconsiderate. Did she ever say aloud why she insisted on the style/length? Did you get the attitude it was just about convenience for her? Did she ever ellude to the fact that individual female be bad or deserving of punishment?
I don`t know.if she said mean thinsg to yall.

It would depend on the situation. When I was growing up, my mom made me hold a boy haircut from the time I be three until I was surrounded by 6th grade. She did it because she other had short curls and did not know how to do hair. She kept mine super short to store time and frustration.
Was your foster mom nice to you otherwise or did she say stingy things to you? It would depend on the rest of your foster mom's demeanor.
It's a way to amass money.
