Is this conventional?

Is it normal to have a feeling more depressed and be less motivated after a week of starting on Lexapro? Is this conventional?
I once hear a seminar about depression and its affect and the girl said that she be so depressed and it didnt do anything to here until a month after she started and then she finally feel the effects and she said it was amazing how long it took but the final effect be sudden and life varying. I'm not a doctor ofcourse though hes the best advice benefactor. Hope it helps.
Yes you involve to give it for a while longer to get into your system.
I know within todays siociety we all want instant gratification, but near medication and espically Depression medication you have to administer it time to work.
I've tried many different anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medicine and have academic you can't really judge their effects until three or four weeks into it. Your body is wondering what's up beside this adjusted height of chemicals and just requests time to get used to it.
Lexepro take about 7 days to see in . If you are still have depression symptoms talk to your doc more or less changing antidepressants that one might not be the one for you . It depends what your depression is cause by , such as the birth of a baby ( that's tricky to treat you own to be real honest near your ob about that create it can be dangerous save treated aggressively ) Blessings and feel better
